Fetch.AI weekly newsletter #019 – Starting the year as we mean to go on

Hello from everyone at Fetch.AI,

As we revealed at the start of the month, we are preparing for our upcoming token sale on Binance Launchpad. If you would like to participate in the sale, please create an account on the Binance website and complete the KYC verification checks. To find out more about how to contribute to the sale, please visit our newly created token web page.

While we finalise the details of the sale, we’ve also been moving forward on other fronts. For example, we’ve welcomed a new member of staff to the Fetch.AI team. Pierre Wilmot  joins us as a software engineer and has a background in video games and deep learning for image processing.

We’ve also published a few blog posts. These include two articles that provide an insight into the aspects of work that some of our team are focussing on. Computational economist Frederic Moisan outlined how he is helping to design markets that incentivise agents to autonomously perform useful activity, while developer Aristotelis Triantafyllidis told us about the prototype autonomous agents he’s creating. In addition, on Wednesday we published an article explaining the incentive structure of the Fetch ecosystem. This structure encourages autonomous agents to dynamically self-organise, thereby increasing the overall efficiency of the network.

Tomorrow our chief executive Humayun Sheikh and our chief technology officer Toby Simpson will be travelling to Singapore ahead of the Binance Conference. Toby will be speaking at the event as part of a panel discussion addressing security and privacy in blockchain technology.  We look forward to sharing some of our highlights from the conference with you next week.
