Highlight of the fortnight
Autonomous agents reduce domestic energy costs by nearly 20%
We are excited to announce we have had a research paper accepted for the prestigious International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence. The conference has been among the most prominent in the field of AI for more than half a century and will be held this year in July in Yokohama, Japan.
The paper is the product of a study conducted by Fetch.ai and Imperial College London.
It outlines how autonomous agents on the decentralized Fetch.ai network can significantly reduce daily home energy costs ⚡️
$FET on Coinbase Custody
We’re pleased to announce Coinbase Custody now supports deposits and withdrawals of $FET 💰
Being part of the select group of assets on the platform represents another major step forward 🥂
Version 0.3.1 of the Agent Framework released
The update includes:
- A fully functioning version of our peer-to-peer communications network for autonomous agents.
- A demo that shows how to use the Hyperledger Aries framework for agent identity and verifiable credentials.
- A range of additional improvements, such as execution time limits for the act/react calls and a HTTP example that shows how agents can draw information from the Internet.

This demo of a decentralized taxi network shows how ride-sharing will operate in the future 🚕💨

Round 7 of the Fetch.ai staking program launched
The bidding phase of the Fetch.ai staking program has closed for another month and the 30-day lock up period is under way.
Congratulations to everyone who took part. More than 145 million $FET tokens were staked in total. They can be collected, along with the rewards, at the end of the lock up period 🔐
