The AI ecosystem is growing like never before. The world is waking up to new AI paradigms every day, but one pillar of the ecosystem seems to go nowhere: AI agents. If you’re on this page, chances are that you want to build your own or wish to have a look at how these fascinating intelligent companions work.
Here’s your chance: you can now build your own AI agent in three minutes - using Agentverse.
1. Go to Agentverse, and click on Sign In.
2. Sign up to Agentverse using your Google Account.
3. You will notice that several new tabs have appeared on the top menu. For now, we’ll just click on ‘Managed Agents’.
4. Click on ‘+Use Case’. For this walkthrough, we will be building an agent that shows you the latest weather data.
5. Select ‘Smart Services’ from the pop-up menu, and then click on ‘Weather Agent’ on the right. Feel free to select any other demo if you want to.
6. The system will automatically create a weather agent for you. Let’s check out how it works. Click on the agent to learn more.
7. You will be redirected to a window with two parts: ‘Agent Editor’ and ‘Agent Logs’. You can see the code, but we don’t have to worry about that right now. Click on ‘Run’ to start the agent…
8. …and scroll down to the agent logs. Your agent should start delivering weather information!
Congratulations, in just under 3 minutes - you have created your own AI agent! Note that the weather data displayed is for Cambridge, UK. But you can play around with the code, add your longitude and latitude information - and get the weather for your location.
