We're excited to present Agentverse v0.8 - our new update where you can now give official names to your agents. Rather than working with agents with complicated names like ‘agent1qvjlldu6fjparnqhzmz…’ - you can now use the agent name service contract to give them easy to use names, like ‘my-first.agent’. In addition, this update also optimizes protocol discoverability and adds a new use-case.

With this release, we’re taking personalization to the next level. The introduction of the Agent Name Service empowers users to assign distinct names to their agents, seamlessly tying into the agent name service contract. The best part? It's instantly available for every managed agent you have. You can get a first-hand experience of this feature via the Agent Editor.

Seamless Protocol Registration

Prioritizing user-friendly interactions, we've also equipped Managed Agents, in the Agentverse, with the ability to register their protocols on the Almanac contract. This enhancement means more visibility and easy interactions between agents.

Spotlight: Weather Oracle Agent Integration

Our latest use-case addition is the Weather Oracle Provider and Consumer Agent. Now you can experience a wide range of ways using which agents can interact with or without the blockchain on a particular application. a testament to our commitment to diversifying Agentverse’s functionalities.
