We are thrilled to announce the release of Agentverse v0.7, an update that brings exciting new features and enhancements to the Fetch.ai Agentverse platform. In this release, developers can deploy and interact with contracts on the ledger, and explore the protocols using Manifest Viewer. Here’s what’s new!
We are now introducing smart contract capabilities to Managed Agents within the Agentverse. With this update, users can deploy and interact with contracts on the Fetch.ai ledger using CosmPy's LedgerContract object. To use this, the code for deployed contracts must be already on the chain. It can also be stored via another method, such as CosmPy.
You can check this feature out using a new use case called "Oracle Agents".
There will be two new agents in your dashboard after you click on ‘Smart Contract Agents’:
The Protocol Manifest Viewer allows users to explore manifests (detailed specifications) of protocols uploaded to the Agentverse. By simply clicking on the links of the protocols in the Discovery Tab, developers can gain valuable insights into them. This feature enhances collaboration and innovation within the Agentverse community by enabling users to understand and utilize protocols effectively.
Along with these major changes, we’ve also replaced the testnet faucet with a central funding manager for convenience.
